I was recently asked to submit my thoughts on what I think will be trending in the design community in 2010. It may sound far away, but we’re almost halfway through 2009 already.
No doubt you’ve come across the odd list or two of “Useful Tools”. Most people have a collection of tools or certain sites that they find invaluable for designing. Well, now it’s my turn to create one. These are some of the tools that I find extremely useful and use on a regular, if not daily, basis.
Good design, much like anything, starts with understanding the basics. Applying the following design principles will help you avoid design disasters and allow you to communicate your key theme. You’ll find that it’s rare to see only one principle being used at a time as they all work in conjunction with each other.
