Web development
Once I’ve finished the custom-made design of the site to your approval – I’ll bring it to life! Whether it’s one or one hundred pages, there’s some great ways that I can give your site the ‘oomph’ it needs to impress your potential clients and drive them to you.
That ‘oomph’ comes from our knowledge and use of web technologies. Primarily, I’ll use the LAMP Solution Stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP) on top of xhtml/css (and sprinklings of JavaScript & AJAX).
Each step of the way and prior to ‘go-live’, I’ll make sure that I’ve tested your site across numerous platforms, such as Windows and Mac OS, and with various browsers, including Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome and Opera. But testing sites with various browsers is only the beginning, because I also test my sites against the W3C Markup Validation Service and the W3C CSS Validation Service just to make sure that everything’s sweet! Only after rigorously testing your website can I be sure that the ‘oomph’ will work.
I believe in usability and visitor satisfaction, and I place a high priority on Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), so that you’re as close to the top in search engine lists (like Google) as possible.

I create fully operational sites, and part of that is making sure your site is hosted. Whether you have a simple one-pager, or a multi-page e-Commerce site, I can provide you with the right hosting package on reliable servers.
All servers are located in a secure datacenter in Canberra, Australia. This allows for fast local access for your website. There is also Level 2 technical support staff working 24 x 7, in case any issues arise. The servers are high quality Dual Core Xeon Dell 1950′s complete with hardware RAID 1. The bandwidth is Optus, MCI, PIPE & Verizon. They operate CentOS Linux, PHP 5.2, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Apache, Perl, cPanel & Fantastico script installer.
