ProPortion Foods are the leading suppliers of nutrient-dense foods to hospitals and care homes across Australia. Their expertise has been honed over many years, based upon extensive conversations with chefs, dietetics specialists and healthcare professionals, to learn how they can help support world best practice in patient and resident nutrition. ProPortion Foods are always striving to understand what makes their range more appealing and easier for people to make part of their daily lives.

ProPortion Foods needed a website that functioned not only as a powerful marketing tool that positions them as an expert in their field, but one that also aligns with their branding as well as providing essential SEO benefits. The website needed to be clean, modern, easy for visitors to navigate, and also easy to update and manage. The new site also needed a complex search and filter tool so that visitors could search their range of products, taking into account various allergens and nutrition requirements.

The new ProPortion Foods website was designed by the talented Fiona Brand from Brand By Name. I was tasked with bringing the new site to life by creating a custom responsive WordPress theme, along with a customisations plugin. With an emphasis on user-friendliness, the site needed to load super-fast, and look great across the range of modern platforms like desktops, smartphones and tablet devices.

Macmillan Education Australia is one of the leading educational publishers in Australia for Secondary English resources. Macmillan support students as they learn and develop their skills through workbooks and textbooks along with encouraging creativity and a love of literature with popular fiction, drama and poetry titles.

The previous Macmillan English site had a number of issues with how their titles were presented, and site visitors found it hard to find what they were looking for, especially when it came to newer titles. Macmillan needed a site that was easier to search as well as one that enabled titles to be catalogued more efficiently. They also wanted a membership site for teachers so that they could access further resources. Each Macmillan title has a special resource code printed inside the cover and when a teacher purchases one of the Macmillan titles, they can then use this code to access additional resources on the site, related to that title.
